SASKATCHEWAN SOLAR NET METERING PROGRAM

The Net Metering Program provides farms and businesses who are customers of SaskPower, Saskatoon Light & Power, and the City of Swift Current with the opportunity to install grid-tied solar PV systems. The PV system capacity can be up to 100 kW. Any excess accumulated generation credits expire at the end of the year. The program encourages many commercial and farm properties to install solar panels and turn to a green energy source.
